Atlanta, Georgia here we come! We are thrilled to be exhibiting again at ASHA this year to share our apps and products at booth #731, and to meet fellow treating SLP’s. However, we are also extremely excited to be spending time with Pediastaff at their booth #1823 which will focus on networking with other SLPs (run by a group called #SLPeeps on twitter) as well as teaching about how therapists can use social media to be more effective. Pediastaff will be holding various information sessions around Twitter, Pintrest, using Blogs, as well as other social media. The schedule can be found here. On Saturday, all4mychild will be helping out around how therapists can use blogs. We are active bloggers (books4all and our blog around treatment ideas), and learn so much from other SLP bloggers who share treatment ideas, products, and more. It’s a wonderful way to keep current, fresh and motivated. Sean Sweeney keeps a list of SLP blogs, as well how to “subscribe” to them here. Our time at the Pediastaff booth will be spent showing various ways to keep up to date with blogs, as well as how blogging has helped us as therapists. We look forward to meeting and talking to SLPs, and answering any questions. We understand how overwhelming social media can be. We are thankful that Pediastaff is offering this service at ASHA. Having hands on support will be awesome for so many therapists who have been wanting to try, but maybe don’t know how to get started! The sessions are open to everyone- and we encourage you to come and ask away!
